The Heart of Okay Bless
True wellness is not found in perfection, nor in the relentless pursuit of positivity. It is our willingness to embrace not only our joy and growth, but also our grief, uncertainty, fear and suffering. To acknowledge them not as flaws nor failures, but simply as an intrinsic part of living out the landscape of this human experience.
This belief sits at the heart of Okay Bless and is the reason for its existence. In a world that often asks us to be better, brighter, happier, more positive and perfect - Okay Bless creates space for real honest conversations, to talk about the parts we don’t normally talk about, in order to illuminate the simple truth that our struggles are not obstacles to being well, but instead something that is experienced by all and an inescapable part of our wellbeing.
Born from growing frustrations with the wellness industry’s emphasis on perfection, appearance, exclusivity and the elite, along with a forever growing monetary emphasis on what we must pay to feel well instead of any encouragement towards self reflection, what began as Hello! Sun in 2016, has now become Okay Bless.
Okay Bless exists as a space to help people feel less alienated and shamed in their pain and suffering and instead feel inspired to question and reassess why we may feel the ways we do and discover what is actually integral to all of our being.

About Angel
Originally from Australia, Angel spent thirteen years living in New York and Paris, building a career as a Creative Director. Following a period of ill health in her early 20s, her attention shifted away from the external pursuits of her life and career and towards a deeper exploration of healing, understanding pain and suffering, and the questions that sit at the heart of the human experience.
In seeking healing, her journey led her to the study of yoga, meditation and the mind body connection. Traveling to India in devotion to tradition, she immersed herself in study, completing trainings in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Pranayama, and Traditional Hatha Yoga under the guidance of her teachers.
In 2016, she founded Hello! Sun. A response to frustrations with the wellness industry that felt increasingly disconnected and more concerned with selling ideals to the elite, than creating space for honest conversations around the acceptance of suffering, seeking deeper meaning and the encouragement of both physical and emotional healing. She wanted to create a world in wellness she didn’t feel yet existed, her work championing the belief that wellbeing is not something we buy, perform, or perfect, but something cultivated through self-awareness, curiosity, and a willingness to engage with the entirety of the human experience - in both its light and darkness, confusion and clarity and its all encompassing raw, intimate and uncomfortable fragilities.
After years of leading creative ventures, Angel felt called back to the work. In 2026, she launched Okay Bless, a wellness and self-help portal dedicated to personal growth, healing, and mindful living. Through sharing stories, conversations, resources, leading workshops, and building community, Okay Bless exists as a safe, honest, and deeply human space accessible for all.
